How to Send Photos Using Stickers on WhatsApp

WhatsApp started rolling out updates/updates for its app. The update, which was rolled out in early October, provides a new interface for the Android platform, as well as a sticker and emoji tab feature when sending photos/videos. This new look is now available for WhatsApp Android version 2.21.19.21 users.

The most striking change is in terms of color. In the tab menu, for example, it can be seen that WhatsApp has changed the green color on the navigation bar to be lighter. The same applies to the Send button in the Chat column. WhatsApp changed the element to a lighter green color.

Switching the Status column, the appearance is also overhauled. Now, the circle on WhatsApp Status updates also carries the same color as the navigation bar. The Status Circle also displays the number of Status uploaded by other accounts.

For example if your friend uploaded three WhatsApp Status. Later their WhatsApp Status circle will display three dotted lines. Then for the chat column display, the background color also changes to darker when the user activates Dark Mode.

This change in appearance made by WhatsApp was previously revealed by the WABetaInfo site last August.

Photo and status stickers In addition to the new look, WhatsApp also brings tabs for Stickers and Emojis in the Status menu. These two tabs will appear if you click on the emoji smile icon in the top row, before uploading your WhatsApp Status.

There, users can see a collection of stickers and emojis by scrolling up the screen to display them in their entirety. Likewise when you want to send photos / videos. Stickers can be pasted on the photo to be sent. How to access it also through the emoji icon on the top right, before pressing the send button.

In the emoji tab, WhatsApp displays a number of columns that are categorized based on each of these emojis. To get a new interface like the one above, WhatsApp Android users must update the application to the latest version, via the Google Play Store.

If it has been updated but the appearance has not changed, it is likely that WhatsApp will roll out this new look gradually.

Instagram Returns IGTV to Main App in Video Tab

Instagram is returning IGTV to its main app. This is done to simplify the way users watch videos on the platform.

Previously, if users wanted to watch long videos, they had to download a separate app called IGTV. But now the company under the Facebook umbrella is combining IGTV with its short format videos.

That way, later users can watch short videos or IGTV in a tab called Instagram Video.

Citing Cnet, Wednesday (6/10/2021), through its blog upload, Instagram said the Video tab would accommodate video content with a maximum duration of 60 minutes, including previews, and new features such as tagging other users and locations.

"This new Video tab will be the home for unified video formats. This will make it easier for users to find content from creators they like," Instagram said on its blog.

Easy User

According to various sources, TikTok's competitor, Instagram Reels, will focus on short videos in separate tabs.

Later, users can tap on any video to watch it in full screen. Meanwhile, content creators can view information about the performance of their uploads and videos with one combined metric.

For your information, IGTV was first launched in 2018. Its presence at that time was intended to be a competitor to YouTube.

Mentioned on the Instagram blog, combining long and short videos into a single app helps simplify the process for creators and users looking for in-app entertainment.

Instagram Service Down

The day before, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram services went down simultaneously in various countries around the world.

When this news was published, there were about 60 thousand users who reported Facebook problems. As for WhatsApp down itself, there are around 54 thousand.

For Instagram and Facebook Messenger there were approximately 1,691 and 2,984 reports received.

When we tried, sending text or photos via WhatsApp nothing could be sent. While the feed on Instagram cannot be refreshed with the words "couldn't refresh feed."

The Most Awaited New Windows 11 Features

As scheduled, the latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows 11 was officially released on Tuesday (5/10/2021). This operating system is available for free for Windows 10 owners and can be downloaded until mid-2022.

As the successor of Windows 10, Windows 11 brings a number of major overhauls, especially from the interface design (UI) which is now fresher and cleaner, updates to the task window management feature, performance improvements, to support for Android applications.

The Most Awaited New Windows 11 Features

Before officially launching, some users have been able to taste various new features of Windows 11 through the Windows Insider program. Well, of the many updates that Windows 11 brings, which features are the most liked and awaited by its presence?

Windows Report tries to find the answer by asking about 11,000 Windows users from 177 countries. In the survey, there are five new features of Windows 11 that top the list.

Start menu in the middle

As a result, the majority or as many as 35 percent of users chose the "Start menu in the middle" as their favorite new feature in Windows 11.

Indeed, the Start menu and taskbar which are now shifted to the middle side are the most obvious changes in the Windows 11 interface. Because in the Windows 10 UI and before, the Start menu and taskbar are usually on the left side of the desktop screen.

As a result, the left side of the Windows 11 desktop is clean without any icons. Some items, such as the clock, connection, or battery, are still on the right side of the taskbar.

The Start menu, which is now right in the middle, also makes Windows 11 similar to the MacOS interface on a MacBook or iMac.

Android app support

In addition to the Start menu, the next favorite and most awaited feature for users is Android application support, as many as 26 percent of users choose this new feature.

This is not surprising. Because, this is the first time Microsoft brings this capability in Windows. So far, Android applications can be run on the Windows operating system with the help of an emulator or dual boot OS.

With the support of Android applications in Windows 11, Android applications can be found and installed through the Microsoft Store or can also be downloaded through the Amazon App Store.

Once downloaded, apps can be pinned to the taskbar or paired with traditional Windows apps. Monitoring KompasTekno, popular applications such as Instagram, Telegram, Spotify, Netflix, WhatsApp, Messenger, Adobe Lightroom, and others can already be found and installed on Windows 11.

The other three new features are quite far from the two features above. For example, GamePass and Auto-HDR were chosen by 11 percent of survey respondents.

Game Pass and Auto-HDR are deliberately presented by Microsoft in Windows 11 for gamers. GamePass itself allows users to subscribe to games, via the new Xbox app on Windows 11.

Meanwhile, the new voice feature and snap group layout feature were each chosen by 8 percent of respondents. There was actually a feature in the "others" category that got 13 percent of the vote. Unfortunately, Windows Report doesn't detail any of the new features of Windows 11 that fall under this "other" option.
